My asters are disasters.
My lillies aren't dillies.
My daffodills hold no thrills.
I look at the gladioli and just sigh.
My wisteria has diptheria.

If it gets any worse,
It'll be the curse,
That comes down,
When a green thumb turns brown.

I knew you said we might see ourselves in your blog one of these days -- well, I'm pretty sure those are my lilies and daffodils you're talking about! I'm not sure my thumb was ever green...

Thanks for the kind words about my aphorisms. Definitely lifted me six inches off the ground. Love your blog, the humor, elegance and refinement. Sweet and sophisticated.

Well I, for one, have had QUITE enough thrills from daffodills - no your thrill-less ones are perfect
